       ︎ I had the amazing opportunity to art direct the Dessert Issue for Willamette Week, “Home Sweet Home!” It was an honor to work with the last free newspaper left in Portland and bring this issue to life. I worked with amazing illustrators and designers: Katherine Fakashchuk, Nicholas Calhoun, Sami Filosa, Francis Bagby, and Maite Jacobo. 
  Our concept for this issue was to transform Portland into a dreamy dessert land where every building is made of tasty treats, paying homage to the childlike wonder felt when searching the city for treats. Shown below are our illustrations that adorn and accompany the newspaper’s sweet layouts.
