︎During my time at Skylight Collective, I was given the wonderfully exciting and rewarding task of making the crop variations for The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack. I worked closely with the amazing Ashley Norquist who was Art Director, Nick Lawrence as Project Manager, and Ragen Venti as the Senior Designer, and Joe Zavaletta doing Paintovers for the artwork.
Production work might not be the most riveting to others, but it’s actually one of my favorite parts of design. So I was excited to dig in and format the different sizes and orientations to be used across The Sims 4 Digital Storefront, digital banners, printed assets, and more.
The team over at EA gave us the “bare bones” 3d models for each of the characters they wanted featured, then gave Skylight the mission of positioning and posing these characters, painting on more details to bring each character to life, and strategically have them interacting with their backdrop.
